Grow Kindness Campaign
Kindness starts at home.
In 2020, the Rainbow Alliance, Coal Creative, and the NEPA Pride Project teamed up to grow kindness throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. We created a “Be Kind” sign and since the launch of the campaign, we have distributed over 250 of these free signs to our community. Our campaign’s goal is to spread positivity in hopes of inspiring meaningful conversations.

The NEPA Pride Project is home to the NEPA Pride Scholarship Program and NEPA GAYLA event. This past year, through the generosity of the first annual NEPA GAYLA attendees, their organization collectively raised funds to provide three (3) area high school seniors with a one-time $1,000 scholarship. Together, the community can keep the arts alive through our youth and continue to celebrate the positives that reside here in NEPA!

Coal Creative proudly supports Rainbow Alliance, an organization that is working tirelessly to provide advocacy, education and support to those in the LGBTQ+ community in NEPA and beyond. Beyond being passionate cheerleaders of the Rainbow Alliance, multiple members of Coal Creative’s leadership team volunteer and serve on the board of directors for the organization and lead the marketing committee.
