History
In 2020...
The Rainbow Alliance, Coal Creative, and the NEPA Pride Project teamed up to launch the “Be Kind” Campaign and distributed over 250 free “Be Kind” yard signs to the community.
and now...
The Rainbow Alliance, Coal Creative, and the NEPA Pride Project have reunited to continue growing kindness throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. We’ve introduced a newly designed “Be Kind” sign featuring the tagline, “Spread Love, Share Kindness.”
Our goal remains simple yet powerful: to spread positivity, spark meaningful conversations, and inspire our community to lead with love and kindness every day.

The NEPA Pride Project is home to the NEPA Pride Scholarship Program and NEPA GAYLA event. Every year, through the generosity of the NEPA GAYLA attendees, their organization collectively raises funds to provide area high school seniors with scholarships to help them further their education. Together, the community can keep the arts alive through our youth and continue to celebrate the positives that reside here in NEPA!

Coal Creative proudly supports Rainbow Alliance, an organization that is working tirelessly to provide advocacy, education and support to those in the LGBTQ+ community in NEPA and beyond. Beyond being passionate cheerleaders of the Rainbow Alliance, multiple members of Coal Creative’s leadership team have volunteered or served on the board of directors for the organization over the years.
